Winnsboro Elementary presents "Angels, Lambs, Ladybugs and Fireflies"

The Winnsboro Elementary School auditorium was all abuzz last Thursday night as the second and fifth graders took to the stage to recreate the fantasy musical, "Angels, Lambs, Ladybugs, and Fireflies." The musical was written by Fred Boch and Betty Hagar to tell the story of Jesus' birth through talking insects, little creatures, angels and shepherds.

Angel narrators were played by Jovarria Johnson, Lyndsi Thomas and Jennifer Goldman. Lambs were Gavin Scott, Chadren Martin, Sterling Brown and LaQuante Higgins. Grasshoppers were Lessie Cooks, Cathedral Lloyd, Makala Winn, Gabby Johnson, Erica Thompson. Butterflies were Latrina White Asia Fleming, Patricia McMillian, Jessica Brown, Ikeria Cleveland and Winter Thomas. Ladybugs were Timeshia Pleasant, Faith Davis, Makayla Hart and Moesha Wallace. Fireflies were Myesha McCollum, Summer Franklin, Antoinette McMahon and Jayla Jackson. Birds were played by Shawn Parker, Thomas Allen, Terrell Warren, Josh Jackson, Anthony Brooks, Shaquille Rubin, Clinton Duplechin, Christopher Blount, Shalandria Jackson, Javacia Johnson, Tamia Pleasant, dineria Marzell, Kadarius Smith, ericka Heckard and John Jones. Mary and Joseph were played by Chambree Cooper and LaJarius Blackson.

A Christmas choir entertained the audience with Christmas carols and music for the performance.
