Moffitt case under review

The State Police report pertaining to the Winnsboro woman who authorities say fabricated a story claiming she was attacked and set on fire was sent to the Fifth Judicial District Attorney's office last week.

D.A. Mack Lancaster's office said it is beginning to view the details of the case on Monday pertaining to 20-year-old Sharmeka Moffitt, who has been recovering from severe burns at her Franklin Parish home upon being released from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport in December.
