Catfish 5K set for April 6

It's time to run again.

The GeauxFit Catfish Classic 5K will be held on Saturday, April 6, in historic downtown Winnsboro.

"Last year we had nearly 150 runners complete the race," said Barry Stevens, one of the race organizers. "It's always a good time, and we expect another good time this year."

Held each year in conjunction with the Franklin Parish Catfish Festival, on the Saturday before the Festival, this year's version of the race will also feature a 1-mile fun run for children 12 and under.
