Parish prepping for big 'spring party'

The Franklin Parish Catfish Festival will celebrate its 27th anniversary on April 13 with a day-long event that will bring thousands to historic downtown Winnsboro.

"We're certainly looking forward to another great event," said festival director Paul Price, Jr. "We're hoping to put together a festival with a little something for everybody, a family-friendly event.
