Commission preparing impact assessment

The staff of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) will prepare an environmental assessment (EA) that will discuss the environmental impacts of the Crowville Salt Dome Storage Project Limited Amendment. The assessment will include the construction and operation of facilities by Perryville Gas Storage LLC in northern Franklin Parish.

FERC will use the EA in its decision-making process to determine whether the project is convenient and a necessity to the public.
