Audit report mixed bag for council

The City of Winnsboro received its annual audit this week and is in full compliance with Federal and State regulations, according to Silas Simmons CPA of Natchez.

Myles Hopkins, an auditor with Silas Simmons, presented his report, which spans July 2011 to June 2012, to the Board of Aldermen at the monthly City Council meeting at the Jack Hammons Community Center Monday night.
