Investigation nets two on meth charges

Two Franklin Parish men were arrested last week after local law enforcement officials uncovered what they called "a large amount of methamphetamine" in the two residents' possession.

Acting on a warrant obtained through narcotics investigations of the Franklin Parish Sheriff's Office, deputies arrived at 140 Hideaway Lane in Baskin last Wednesday to find about 20 grams of crystal methamphetamine, commonly referred to as "ice" or "glass" in some areas.
