MALO launches walk-a-thon

MALO (Mattie, Alice Leola, Ollie) Health Resource and Fitness Center, located on the West side of town, launched a two-mile Walk-A-Thon on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 8 a.m., beginning and ending at Terry Wallace Memorial Park.

The organization was founded six months ago by three sisters, Beveral A. Tarver, Leola A. Thomas and Luvenia A. Revels.
