Flu season starts early

With a flurry of early cases of the flu being documented around the country every day, health officials warned on Monday this season could be worse than normal.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said the U.S. flu season is off to its earliest start in a decade, but more concerning is this particular strain seems to be making patients sicker than other types of the flu.
