Plain Dealing shocks Mangham

Late turnovers and penalties hurt No. 4 Mangham last Friday as the Dragons became the highest seed to fall in the playoffs' opening round, losing to No. 29 Plain Dealing, 29-23.

Mangham, a favorite by many to make another deep run in the Class 1A bracket this year, had two of its four turnovers come in critical fourth-quarter situations.
