Funeral services for Sammie Joe King, 73, of Gilbert, will be held at Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, November 1, 2012, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Kent Nugent officiating. 

Interment will follow at Fort Necessity Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial. 

Mr. King was born on May 7, 1939, in Columbia, Mississippi and passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012, at his residence in Gilbert.
