Cobb guest speaker at Pink Lady meet

Franklin Parish Sheriff, Kevin Cobb, was featured speaker at the monthly Pink Ladies meeting at Franklin Medical Center in October. Sheriff Cobb spoke on the programs for the public and especially those for senior citizens in which his office is involved.

The Sheriff cautioned all senior citizens to be aware of the numerous scam artists who use the telephone to intimidate and harass individuals. Sheriff Cobb pointed out that if it sounds too good to be true, it absolutely is, and any offer the scammer makes to anyone will be followed by a request for money.
