The facility will prepare sewage sludge for subsequent disposal in the Magnolia Sanitary Landfill in Ouachita Parish in accordance with conditions and requirements set forth in General Permit LAJ650000.
Sewage Sludge and Biosolids Use or Disposal General Permit LAJ650000 was issued by the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ). The general permit contains standards and conditions for the use or disposal of sewage sludge and biosolids that are required of facilities that prepare sewage sludge for disposal in permitted landfills.
Copies of the General Permit and the NOI filed by City of Winnsboro may be examined at the Office of Environmental Services, Public Records Center, Department of Environmental Quality, 602 North Fifth Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Viewing hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (except holidays).
