ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Charlyn Enterprises LLC, a 150 bed skilled nursing facility, located at 804 Polk Street, Winnsboro, Louisiana, is seeking bids for an emergency power system with the capacity to meet all facility electrical demands during periods of electrical power outages.
The bid must include the cost of the entire project and meet all specifications as outlined in the project bid packet. Bid specifications can be obtained by contacting Administrator, Charlyn Enterprises LLC at 804 Polk Street, Winnsboro, LA 71295 or 318-574-5230.
Sealed bids should be mailed to the facility at 804 Polk Street, Winnsboro, LA 71295. All bids will be opened at 10:00 a.m. on February 18, 2011.

Minutes of Board meeting dated Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 7:30 a.m., Crowville Fire Station.
Board members present: Kelly Clark, Dewayne Hendry, Don Middleton, Colby Peppers.
Guests present: Daniel Fuller, Central Community Fireman; John Shelton & Roy McDuffie, Advisors to the Board.
Business discussed and/or acted on by the Board:
1. Don Middleton reviewed the financial statement with the Board. After some discussion, the Board approved the statement without change or descent. Statement on file with minutes.
2. Don Middleton presented the amended budget for 2010 drawing attention to the areas that deviated from the 2010 adopted budget. An explanation of these deviations are included with the Amended 2010 Budget. The amended budget was approved after some discussion. A copy is on file with the minutes.
3. Kelly Clark discussed the need to begin the procurement process for a fire truck to replace the old one at Central Station. Dewayne Hendry placed this proposal in the form of a motion, seconded by Colby Peppers and passed by the Board with no descent. Contacts to sources of good pre-owned fire trucks are being made.
4. Roy McDuffie stated that the Proposition that the District operates on presently will expire in 2013. A new Proposition will be voted on in 2012 to become active in 2013.
5. Daniel Fuller stated that some new turn-out gear is needed for a Central Station fireman. This issue will be addressed in the near future.
