Pylant, Sheriff Sheriff's Office, Winnsboro, La. 2/9 1tp mmm MINUTES - LIBRARY BOARD February 2, 2011 The Franklin Parish Library Board met in a regular noon meeting on February 2, 2011. John Guice, Board Vice-President, opened the meeting with board members, Addie Bolton, Jeannette Thompson, and Bill Marionneaux present. Ms. Snyder was absent. Mr. Guice led in prayer. Dr. Marionneaux moved that the minutes of the last board meeting be approved and Ms. Bolton seconded the motion and all were in favor. Library Director, Carolyn Flint, gave the statistical reports for the fourth quarter of 2010. The financial report was given and the financial status of the library is good. Circulation was down for the quarter compared to the same quarter for 2009. Program attendance was good and the use of public access computers remains high. Ms. Flint showed the board members a book that the staff has placed in the library in honor of The Franklin Parish Library Board of Control. The staff also prepared lunch for the board members to thank them for their service to the library and for their support of the library staff. Ms. Flint read a letter from the Franklin Parish Police Jury stating that Dr. Marionneaux and Mrs. Addie Bolton have been reappointed to the Library Board of Control from another five (5) year term.
