Building(s) must be removed from Franklin Parish High School Campus by November 30, 2009. A professional mover must be utilized and show proof of liability insurance. Payment must be paid in full before building(s) are moved.

VILLAGE OF GILBERT
REGULAR MEETING
OCT. 8, 2009
The Village of Gilbert Mayor and Board of Alderman met in regular session on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 6:30 p.m., at the Gilbert City Hall.
Those present were as follows: Mayor Mike Stephens, Clerk Diane Parker, Alderman Leo Miller, Kay Dunaway and Louis Ezell. Also present were Joann Evans, Bill McLemore, Bruce Lofton and citizens.
CALL TO ORDER:
Mayor Mike Stephens called the meeting to order. Bruce Lofton led in opening prayer. Diane Parker led in the pledge of allegiance.
MINUTES:
Motion made by Louis Ezell, seconded by Leo Miller to accept the minutes as presented. Motion carried.
FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS:

Mayor Stephens informed council that we had received the $20,000.00 Act 122 grant money and expense for all items were bought by grant money. Was not expense to town for all items purchased by public works department, police department and the fire department.

has applied to the Office of Conservation, Injection and Mining Division for a permit to operate two subsurface injection well to dispose of saltwater generated through the creation of solution-mined salt caverns. The assigned application numbers are 30524 (TCF SWD # 3, proposed in Sec 19, T12N, R7E), 30553 (J. V. Williams Jr. SWD #3, proposed in Sec 8, T12N, R7E)
Subsurface disposal of saltwater is proposed to occur within an injection zone from approximately 1150 feet to 4630 feet. The saltwater for disposal will be generated from the solution mining of salt in the Fort Necessity salt dome.
The application is available for inspection from 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Monday through Friday in the Injection and Mining Division Office, Room 817, LaSalle Building, 617 North Third Street, Baton Rouge, LA.
Interested parties may request a public hearing or submit written comments on the application. Such requests must be received in the Injection and Mining Division by 4:30 p.m., no later than 15 days from the date of this publication. REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
SEPT. 10, 2009
The Town Council of Wisner met in regular session on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. at the Wisner Town Hall.
Present: Mayor Allyn Jean Luckett, Nettie B. Brown, Thomas Lemle, Bobby Blount, and Thomas Moore.
Absent: Marc McCarty.
Also present: Town Clerk, Police Chief and guests.
There being a quorum Mayor Luckett called the meeting proceedings to order.
The invocation was led by Nettie B. Brown.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Bobby Blount.
Motion by Thomas Lemle to approve minutes from previous meeting. Bobby Blount seconded. Minutes approved.
The financial reports and expenditures were provided for the month of August. Thomas Moore made a motion to approve the financial reports. Nettie B. Brown seconded. Permission granted to pay all bills.
OLD BUSINESS:
Council was informed that the amended ordinance for fireworks was not complete, and would be ready for October’s council meeting.
Mayor Luckett asked council to reconsider the location for the community center, so that the project can get underway before funding is lost.
A resolution to apply for a Community Water Enrichment Grant was presented to council.
Motion by Nettie B. Brown to apply for the Community Water Enrichment grant. Seconded by Thomas Lemle. Motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS:
The millage rate for the tax year 2009-2010 was adopted by majority vote.
DEPARTMENT REPORTS:
MAINTENANCE DEPT.
Bobby Rushing reported that the maintenance department is busy with paper pick up and cutting grass.
POLICE DEPT.:
Chief Billy Cureington reported that the police department has been busy and everything was going smoothly.
FIRE DEPT.:
Acting Fire Chief informed council that the fire truck is still in need of repairs.
Further Business:
A request to have two fund-raisers was presented to council for their approval.
(1) Octoberfest to be held October 24, 2009 on Natchez Street.
(2) A pancake breakfast to be held on December 5, 2009.
Motion by Thomas Moore to approve two fundraiser request. Seconded by Nettie B. Brown. Motion carried.
Council was given a list of unused equipment.
Thomas Moore made a motion to advertise for sealed bids on the unused equipment. Seconded by Thomas Lemle. Motion carried.

will be applying to the Office of Conservation, Injection and Mining Division for a permit to solution-mine salt in the CROWVILLE salt dome.
The salt cavern will be created for later conversion to hydrocarbon storage.
The proposed well and salt cavern will be in Section 11, Township 15N, Range 8E, TURKEY CREEK Field, FRANKLIN Parish, Louisiana, and will be identified as the PGS CAVERN Well No. 001.
The well will be drilled to a depth of 5300. The top of the solution-mined cavern is proposed to be at 3850 feet with its base at 5240 feet.
Once submitted, the application will be available for inspection from 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Monday through Friday in the Injection and Mining Division Office, Rm. 817, LaSalle Building, 617 North Third Street, Baton Rouge, LA.
