It was an evening to salute the best and brightest among parish teachers as the Franklin Parish School Board recognized district and regional teachers of the year at their regular meeting.
Teachers of the year representing each school and the district were introduced by Assistant Superintendent Wiley McClary and awarded a plaque on behalf of the board.
