Sandy Hook fundraiser set for Friday posted Wednesday, January 23rd, 2013 @ 5:05 am  E-mail Story |  Print Story  In light of the recent tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn., Bevvy's Gourmet Products is teaming up with KMAR 95.9 in a fundraising effort to show support from one small community to another. Everyone is encouraged to come out to Bevvy's Gourmet, Signs & Designs, located at 3728 Front Street, on Friday, Jan. 25 to do their part in assisting those who were affected by the horrific events that occurred at Sandy Hook on Dec. 14. Delicious food will be available, as well as hourly give-a-ways and a silent auction will be held. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and KMAR will be broadcasting live from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All funds raised will go directly to the Sandy Hook Support Fund, to which all checks should be made payable to. All corporate donors will be mentioned on air during the live broadcast.
