Carcass dumping becoming a nasty problem

There is nothing more disgusting than backing your boat down a ramp to launch and then being consumed with the stench of a rotting deer carcass.

This is the biggest pet peeve I have about hunters. I am angry at the laziness of uneducated people damaging the public perception of hunting, fishing and outdoors sports.

The public approval of hunting is about 50% in America and one wacky election could cost you many of your hunting privileges you have now.

Recently, an agent had a vehicle accident in pursuit of an illegal dumping of a deer carcass, because it was on someone else's property. Illegal dumping is unacceptable and we need to be mindful of the proper procedures to dispose.

The Magnolia Landfill has an animal area or contact a deer processing center. If you have private land of your own, you can dig a disposal pit and keep adding to it.
