Cougars' JV starts strong

The Franklin Academy Cougars JV squad won its first two contests of the season last week with wins over Briarfield and River Oaks.

Ryder Biggs led the Cougars with 11 points in a 36-22 victory over Briarfield. Avion Lindsey and Mason Harris added 8 points each.

"The guys played hard throughout the game," Franklin Academy coach Paul Work said. "The season is early, and we have some adjustments to make, but they are playing solid to this point."
