Off-road motorcycle racing roared into Franklin Parish Memorial Day weekend. The LACC, Louisiana Cross Country, race series round four was held in Fort Necessity with over 150 racers and more than 350 spectators attending the Farm Country Classic.

Racers and fans began arriving Friday morning in anticipation of Sunday Morning Race.

Attendees spent the weekend camping, scouting the 8.3-mile course and enjoying the camaraderie of fellow racers and friends. Racers competed in 15 classes ranging from expert to beginner pewee. Local racers swept the podium in the intermediate kids class with Evan Wiggers taking the win and Zeb Huff and Jacob Freeman rounding out second and third. Also competing from this area were Calry Huff and Alex Wiggers.

Racers and fans alike were treated to a great course and exciting racing with only one second separating first and second positions in the expert class.

For more information on this race and off-track motorcycle racing log on to Acadianaracing.com and click on the LACC tab. LACC comes back to this area in November for the Jim Buie Round 10 in the Sicily Island Hills, so check the web for times and dates and come on out for a fun and exciting day of off-road action.
