Patriot practice begins Monday
by Joey Martin - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Franklin Parish High football players will report to practice Monday, Aug. 11 at 5 p.m.

Patriot head coach Barry Sebren is asking players to report to the fieldhouse.

"We'll start out in shorts and helmets," Sebren said. "I'm expecting anywhere from 45 to 60 players.

Sebren said he had about 50 percent participate in offseason workouts.

"It's tough when you are out in a rural parish getting everybody together," he said. "But it went well. It's better when school starts and everybody is together. We're excited about starting and looking forward to getting everybody back on the field."
