National day of prayer May 1 The National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 1. There will be prayer meetings ineach community of Franklin Parish. All prayer meetings will begin at noon.
Meeting places are as follows: Crowville, First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall; Fort Necessity, Community Center; Gilbert, Gilbert Town Hall; Baskin, Baskin Town Hall; Winnsboro, Gazebo, Hwy 15 ; Wisner, New Gazebo, Hwy 15.
"We will be praying for our nation, and our elected officials. Every person is invited toattend at the most convenient place," said Dorothy Young, one of the local organizers. "If you are unable to attend, we ask that you join us in prayer wherever you are. be at noon." |
