Franklin Academy golfers hit area links
The Franklin Academy golf team hosted a nine-hole regular season match on April 7 at Twin Oaks Country Club.
Eight teams participated in the invitational event, including Claiborne Academy of Homer, Riverdale Academy of Coushatta, Riverfield Academy of Rayville, River Oaks of Monroe, Tallulah Academy, Glenbrook Academy of Minden and Prairie View Academy of Bastrop.
Claiborne came in first, followed by Glenbrook in second and the Cougars in third.
April 14 the Cougars team travelled to Tallulah Country Club and finished fifth out of eight teams in the 18-hold regular season match.
The Franklin Academy team was led by Dalton Oliver, 87, followed by Drew Guice, 92, Chris Hassell, 92, Nick Kaufman, 98 and Justin Collins with 105. |
