Womack receives scholarship
Chase Womack, a junior at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, son of Glen and Judy Womack of Harrisonburg, was the recipient of the Thurman Potts Scholarship awarded by the Associated General Contractors (AGC) through the ULM school of construction. This is the premier scholarship awarded to the Construction Foundation through the AGC. This award was based upon a certain academic criteria, set by the AGC. Each participant also sat before a board for any interview on various aspects of the construction industry. Chase also had the honor of meeting Mr. Thurman Potts in person while being awarded the scholarship during the monthly AGC meeting. |
