Teats crowned Miss Precious Pearl

Bianca Teats, daughter of Darrell and Angela Teats of Winnsboro, was crowned Miss Precious Pearl during the Fifth Annual Precious Pearl Cotillion Ball of the Omicron Iota Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. There were eight debutantes presented during the program. Kenneth Blackson, Jr., son of Kenneth and LaTanga Blackson was Teats' escort for the evening.

Teats is a senior at Franklin Parish High School and plans to attend Louisiana State University following graduation. As Miss Precious Pearl, she will receive a $1,000 scholarship and make various appearances at events.

Teats is the granddaughter of Mr.. and Mrs. John A. Sims and Mrs. Bertha Teats, all of Winnsboro.
