Cougar basketball duo shine The South squad beat the North, 80-63 in the MPSA All-Star Game at Mississippi College in Clinton, Miss. on Friday, March 8th.
The South squad had some local talent on their team as Cougar seniors Darren Collie and Caleb Haring were on the squad.
Collie had 10 points and Haring had a solid effort with nine in the winning effort for the South squad.
"The people of Franklin Parish should really be proud of the way we were represented in this event," Franklin Academy Head Coach Phil Jackson said. "These young men had a great year and finished up with a lot of class. They will definitely be missed by the entire Franklin Academy community." |
