DMA Elects new officers
The DMA Mission Group of Archibald finished a busy year for 2007, and elected officers before adjourning meetings until 2008. Outgoing president Alice Gibson called the meeting to order and nominations for officers was taken. Majority votes have brought in our president for the New Year, Bobby Creek, Aubrey Spillers, vice president, Anita Warren retained position of secretary / treasurer and the new mission leader is Lillie Kline.
The group is looking forward to another busy year. Mission projects for the many causes will include, the Louisiana Veteran's Home, Wellspring Alliance, local nursing homes the Children's home and Samaritans Purse to name a few.
The DMA of Archibald meets on the third Thursday of each month. The group has extended an invitation to anyone interested, to join them at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Archibald. |
