Mangham's girls led Delhi 46-16 at halftime.

"We put a lot of pressure on their guards," said Lady Dragon coach LeNette Romero. "We play an up-tempo game and was able to control the flow of the game. It's good to start out district with a win. Everybody saw a lot of action and we got good balanced scoring on the night."

Brittany McKinley led Mangham with 19 points, while Iaisha Royal added 15 and Starlette Thomas 11.

Mangham's boys fell to Delhi, 71-51.

Delhi led 261-8 at halftime.

"We're so young right now, we're just wanting to try and improve each game and compete," said Mangham coach Paul Dunn. We got a couple of kids back from injuries, which should help."

Freshman Darious Darrington, playing his first game of the season after being out with a broken ankle, led Mangham with 19 points.

Mangham's boys fell to Tensas Parish 68-61 Friday.
