Liles renders Pearl River scoreless Former Franklin Parish pitcher Mason Liles took the mound in the second game of a two-game challenge between Baton Rouge Community College and Pearl River Community College on Saturday, Feb. 9, at Vidalia Recreation Center.
The former Patriot all-district selection worked seven innings on the hill, allowing no runs and one hit while leading the BRCC Bears to a 3-0 victory over Pearl River.
Liles originally walked on at BRCC, but coach L.J. Dupuy awarded the freshman a scholarship after a solid showing in the Fall from the right-hander.
