Cupp tapped to fill alderman post The Winnsboro city council approved Kaye Cupp to fill the vacant district one alderman seat at a special called meeting last week.
Cupp was selected as a candidate to fill the spot on an interim basis by Mayor Jackie Johnson after third-term Councilman Richard Mahoney gave his letter of resignation on Jan. 31.
Cupp will serve a portion of Mahoney's remaining term that was scheduled to end in 2014.
