Hanson visits Winnsboro campus
Dr. Barbara Hanson hit the ground running last week as the new chancellor of Delta Community College, visiting several campuses in northeast Louisiana. Debbie Price, director of the Winnsboro campus, along with Winnsboro Mayor Jackie Johnson, were on hand to greet Hanson as she toured the facilities of the current location.
Through the efforts of Rep. Steve Pylant and the Joint Committee on the budget, Delta procured funding to purchase the former furniture warehouse north of town as the future home of the school.
