Flooding causes road damage, evacuations A bizarre combination of weather over the last seven days has delivered a massive blow to Franklin Parish, leaving roadways damaged and forcing the evacuations of residents due to flooding.
Weather officials said up to five inches of rainfall fell across the area overnight last Wednesday and Thursday morning, which led to the evacuation of dozens of residents in the Richwood Subdivision in Gilbert by local law enforcement and emergency preparedness officials.
