Louisiana Lions offer Cubsight Program in Franklin Parish In the past, a students' ability to learn could be affected by poor vision, but thanks to the Louisiana Lions Eye Foundation's Cubsight Program, this is no longer the case.
Local Lions Club members recently provided free eye screenings for local Pre-K students at Franklin Parish Head Start and Temple School in Winnsboro. Lions Club volunteers trained to operate the Welch Allyn Sure-sight Vision Screener, a hand-held instrument that accurately tests for multiple vision disorders in small children who are too young to communicate vision problems.
