Stevens promoted to senior vice president at Progressive Bank The Board of Directors of Progressive Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Barry C. Stevens to the position of Senior Vice President – Training Director and Security Officer. In that capacity, Stevens is responsible for coordination of all training and security needs for the entire bank, including its financial centers in Winnsboro, Monroe, West Monroe, Shreveport, and Bossier City.
According to George W. Cummings, III, President and Chief Executive Officer, of Progressive Bank, "With today's complex regulatory environment, training and security responsibilities have expanded significantly. With Barry's extensive background in all facets of community banking, he was the natural choice for a role of this scope. While Barry will continue to be based in Winnsboro, he will be spending considerable time in all markets as he works with each division and department to meet the bank's training and security needs."
