Board, mayor satisfy tax lien The Wisner Town of Aldermen approved a motion to give approval to Mayor Allyn Jean Luckett to cash a certificate of deposit (CD) to pay outstanding payroll taxes to the IRS. In the absence of Mayor Allyn Jean Luckett, alderman Marc McCarty served as mayor pro tempore at the monthly board meeting.
A notice of a federal tax lien in the amount $18,019 was filed on July 17, 2012, by the IRS against the Town of Wisner for failure to pay 941-form employment taxes.
