Franklin Parish wears down West Ouachita in crisp performance

Donned in digital camouflage and sporting a month-long winning streak, the Franklin Parish Patriots imposed its will on Friday, handling West Ouachita 36-13 at Patriot Stadium.

It was the first time this season the Patriot offense did not turn the ball over, tallying over 400 yards on their way to a comfortable victory on opening night of 2-4A district play.

"If we take care of the football, the rest takes care of itself," Franklin Parish coach Barry Sebren said. "The score looked sort of one-sided at the end, but it really was closer than that."
