GGSC holds first meeting Garden Gate Study Club held its first meeting of the fall season on Friday, Sept. 14, in the First United Methodist Church of Winnsboro's meeting room. President Suzanne Mercer presided over the meeting. A morning brunch was served by hostesses Jean Taylor, Shirley Mondello and Heather Carroll.
Dr. Laura Little, DVM, of Sullivan's Veterinary Clinic, was introduced by Suzanne as a 'young lady with many talents'. Dr. Little gave a Powerpoint presentation entitled "A Beautiful Buffet," which included food arrangements and centerpieces for parties, showers and family gatherings. Food safety was stressed.
