The Franklin Medical Center posted back-to-back profitable years for the first time since at least 2000, according to the yearly audit reported last week at the board of commissioners monthly meeting.

"It's probably been longer than that," said Paul Delaney, CPA with Lester, Miller and Wells in reference to FMC's repeat years in the black. "Management didn't look back any further than 2000 though."
