Patriots blow past Rayville, 42-14

Both the offensive and defensive lines for Franklin Parish put on a clinic last Friday night at Patriot Stadium, pounding the Rayville Hornets into submission, 42-14.

The Patriot offense smashed the ball down Rayville's throat, rushing for nearly 400 yards on 56 carries. Franklin Parish's defense answered the bell the entire night as well, completely befuddling Rayville's duel-threat quarterback Deleyoung Miller.

"We played extremely well in all phases of the game," Franklin Parish coach Barry Sebren said. "Our players were focused on the job at hand and executed. This was the kind of effort that can take us a long way this year if we can sustain it."
