Barge traffic picks up after Isaac rains Two weeks ago, Mark Raley was on pins and needles, not knowing how or when the millions of bushels corn stored at his elevator would be shipped down a Mississippi River that was at its lowest levels since 1988.
With nine million bushels on the ground covered by tarps, and Hurricane Isaac's projected path aimed directly at northeast Louisiana, all Raley could do was hope for the best.
