Bead Town exhibit opening postponed The one-of-a-kind exhibit coming to the Old Post Office Museum in Winnsboro, "Bead Town Winnsboro: A Louisiana Reverie," will open with a reception from 5-7 p.m., at the Old Post Office Museum, 513 Prairie St., Winnsboro, on Thursday, Sept. 6. The opening has been postponed from the previously announced date, due to Hurrican Isaac.
German-born artist Stephan Wanger, now a resident of New Orleans, channels his creative energy through a unique art form using recycled Mardi Gras beads to produce dazzling mosaics, showcasing the beauty of Louisiana in a way never before seen. To visit the gallery, visit www.galeriaalegria.com.
