Chamber celebrates state bicentennial with special guest
In conjunction with Louisiana's bicentennial year, University of Louisiana Press released "Main Streets of America," a book celebrating some of the state's most historic and picturesque downtown areas earlier this year.
Of the 33 communities participating in the Main Street programs, Winnsboro was selected as the cover photo for the book. Author Anne Butler will speak to the Winnsboro-Franklin Chamber of Commerce at the Princess Room on Thursday, Sept. 6.
