Benefit slated to aid longtime educator
Edith McMurray is one of those unsung heroes you have probably said a silent 'thank you' to. As a 1968 graduate from Ogden High School, Edith followed her heart and chose to teach middle school in Rayville, spending long days in the classroom, then grading tests, planning lessons, going to meetings, and much more.
Edith also worked just as hard on the kids' spirits, encouraging them to stock with school and stay out of trouble.
