School Board members address full slate
It's not yet clear whether Gov. Bobby Jindal's voucher program will have a negative impact on the Franklin Parish School system, as it is unknown whether any vouchers have been applied for within the district.
According to Superintendent Lanny Johnson, the School Board has
been notified of any applications for vouchers in the parish.
Board members voiced concerns Monday evening at their regular meeting over the financial loss to the system that students transferring would create.
