Winnsboro Debs notch third win at World Series
With their backs against the wall and the weight of the bayou state on their shoulders, the Winnsboro Debs refused to go quietly into the night on Monday at the 2012 Dixie Debs World Series.
A walk-off RBI single off the bat of Lindsey Robbins in the bottom of the eighth inning scored Corey Bradford from second base, giving the Louisiana squad a 1-0 victory over South Carolina (Turbeville), keeping national title dreams alive for the battle-tested Franklin Parish softball team.
