Putt Linder honored as Officer of the Year
Every year, an officer is selected from LACP members for the distinguished honor of Officer of the Year. The late Bill "Putt" Linder was chosen posthumously for the award, which was presented by Franklin Parish Sheriff Kevin Cobb on behalf of the LACP.
"We're proud to honor Mr. Linder for his service and commitment to the people of Franklin Parish," Cobb said. "He absolutely loved his career in law enforcement and had the ability to understand the role of a police officer, which is to be a servant to the community."
