Banks appointed to NE SWCD Board
Brad Banks of Winnsboro, La., has been appointed to a term on the Northeast Soil and Water Conservation District (NE SWCD). He is filling the position vacated by Glen Williams. Banks is one of five governing members on the Board of Supervisors to administer the affairs of the NE SWCD.
Board members are public officials who represent the people within their district. Three members of the board are elected and two are appointed members. Each supervisor serves a three-year staggered term, which for elected members begins the first day of July following the election. Appointed-member terms begin upon their appointment to the District Board.
