Fletcher to compete for saddle bronc title
A local rising rodeo star in the saddle bronc field has earned a spot to compete for a national title after recently taking the top buckle at state events.
After winning the title of Louisiana High School Rodeo Saddle Bronc Champion at the state finals in Lake Charles in June, Canon Fletcher earned a position on the Louisiana High School Rodeo Team. Fletcher, a senior of Franklin Parish High School, will travel to Rock Springs, Wyo. from July 15-21 to compete at the 64th Annual National High School Finals Rodeo.
