Sheriff, FPSO staff take oaths of office
Kevin Cobb officially took office on Thursday, July 1, to begin his elected term as sheriff of Franklin Parish. Cobb took the oath of office as sheriff-elect in January. Cobb replaes Rep. Steve Pylant, who was sheriff for the previous 16 years.
"It's been an honor and an advantage to fulfill the remainder of Steve's term," Cobb said. "I have had time to get things in place so that I could hit the ground running July 1."
